Who is eligible to apply?

To apply for admission into the Montgomery Leadership Program, you must have completed at least one year of college and be in good academic standing with the university.

When can I apply?

Applications are accepted online during the summer and early Fall semester, and a new class of Montgomery Leadership "Scholars" begins in January of each Spring semester. Look for the online application to open in June.

How are Scholars Chosen?

Montgomery Leadership Scholars are selected based on their recognized academic, leadership, and character traits. After completion of the online application, the Montgomery Leadership Advisory board will review the student applications. Selected applicants will then complete an interview process, which includes attending a Meet and Greet. Students will be notified of their admission into the Montgomery Leadership Program within two weeks of their interview.

Thus far, over 300 MLP Scholars have graduated from the 3-semester program. Our core values include the highest commitment to ethics, integrity, courage, impeccable character, and motivation of others to achieve the extraordinary. You'll be asked to commit your time to the learning and service opportunities the program offers and to make a personal commitment to these values.
